Bike Walk Mississippi works to educate elected officials and municipal leaders across the state of Mississippi about the importance of building a state that is better for bicyclists and pedestrians of all types. We advocate for change from the top-down and we work on the grass-roots level to assist and partner with individuals and groups across Mississippi to raise our voices together! We work with Congress, Legislators, Mayors, MDOT Commissioners and other elected leaders asking them to support bicycle and pedestrian friendly programs, policies and infrastructure.  We know that creating a bicycle and pedestrian friendly Mississippi means increased economic development, access, health, safety and quality of life.  

 

We work on behalf of all bicyclists and pedestrians in Mississippi to showcase innovative and best practices along with compelling data to support the cause.  We help communities work with their local officials to make real change in on the local level, while simultaneously working on from the top-down to influence change from our decision makers.
